Provider Scheduling and Calendar Management
One calendar for every provider, location and appointment type. Set working hours and time off once, and the schedule stops offering slots nobody can work.
What it prevents
Three scheduling problems that cost a practice real time.
-
Booking someone who is not there
Provider hours, locations and approved time off drive what the calendar offers, so a patient cannot be booked into a day the provider does not work.
-
Rebuilding the rota every month
Recurrence patterns cover alternating weeks and monthly specialist visits, so an unusual rotation is configured once instead of maintained by hand.
-
Not knowing where the day stands
Confirmed, reschedule requested, no response and no-show are counted at the top of the calendar and colour-coded on every appointment.
Common questions
Can providers have different hours each day?
Yes. Each day gets its own schedule entry, so 8am to 5pm Monday and 9am to 6pm Tuesday is a normal setup rather than a workaround.
How are alternating providers handled?
Odd Weeks and Even Weeks recurrence. Set one provider to each and they alternate automatically.
Does adding time off cancel existing appointments?
No. Time off prevents new bookings in that window. Appointments already on the schedule must be reviewed and rescheduled by staff.
Can appointments move between providers?
Yes, appointments drag horizontally from one provider column to another.
